In 1979, the Bethlehem Bible College used to be a one man’s that was slowly implemented on the ground. After three decades, the initiative managed to grow and flourish and become what it is today: an institution that offers quality education, dynamic programs and training for students to serve and encourage others, and empower Christian existence in Palestine. The main college building was home to the Hellen Keller School for the blind, which was renovated and new classrooms were added, in addition to a library, a chapel, a media center and a guesthouse. In 2010, the needs of the college faculty, staff and students were growing, and a new academic building was constructed and named after the founder, Bishara Awad. The college offers Diploma programs in Tour Guiding and Media Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and Christian Education, and Master Degrees in Christian Leadership and Ministry and Peace Studies. The Bethlehem Bible College also has a campus in Nazareth, and most recently, a satellite campus was initiated in the Gaza Strip.
