The Center was inaugurated in 2012 in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. The 3,000 square meter premises, which is considered the first scientific and cultural Russian entity in Palestine, hosts a large cinema hall, a multimedia library, language teaching classrooms, a ballet and dance studio, a shop and a café. The Center seeks to contribute to strengthening and developing relations between the Russian and Palestinian people.
